Hello! My name is Jessica and I’ve spent the last seven years developing the efficient body method. I am so excited to share the four principles of the efficient body with you!
As a former professional dancer, I spent my career obsessed with how to move more efficiently. I discovered that moving efficiently not only reduces pain and makes movement feel good, but it also brings which undoes habitual brain patterns and allows us to lead more peaceful and spontaneous lives.
Enjoy a new level of awareness in your body as you become more conscious of how you move.
BIO: Jessica Harris danced professionally for more than 10 years with MacArthur winning Shen Wei Dance Arts. Performances include the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, Walt Disney Concert Hall, La Fenice in Venice, Het Musiztheater in Amsterdam, Hong Kong Grand Theater, Sadler’s Wells and more. In 2008 Ms. Harris joined Shen Wei in choreographing material for the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She has also studied with and assisted Anna Deavere Smith, is a certified Movement Pattern Analyst, and studied Aikido Kokikai for ten years.
Additionally, Ms. Harris has a YouTube show for preschoolers, Jess & Fun!, that teaches children letters and numbers using movement, as well as an event entertainment company Oracle Acts where she performs as a dancing Oracle.
